Home Learning

Any homework which has been set can be viewed on Class Charts. Staff will set and mark homework regularly to encourage independent study and reinforce and extend the work covered in lessons. 

You can log in to Class Charts using the details which have previously been provided to you. Please contact your Tutor if you have lost these details.

You can work on your homework at school during Homework Club. Homework Club runs every day after school (3pm-4pm) in the Library.


KS3 Homework Timetable (Years 7/8/9)

Year 8-9 English set and due weekly in English lessons.

We also expect students to complete 20 points for Bedrock per week and some school time is allocated to help with this.

Your child will also receive one piece per half term for the following subjects: art, drama, DT, geography history, ICT, music, RS and 2 pieces from MFL. To allow students to manage their workload, deadlines will be at least one week from the date set.

There is a homework club every evening and departments offer homework help clubs too.

Depending on option choices, students will also have an hour a week of art, business, DT, geography, history, sociology; 30 mins of IT, media studies, MFL, music, PE; 2 pieces per half term from RS.


KS5 Homework Timetable (A Level: Years 12/13)

Homework is set for each subject: 2 hours per week

Up to 5 hours of independent study (one hour for each taught hour)

We also expect students to complete 20 points for Bedrock per week.
